You might know me as Ashley, but my family and friends call me Ash.

My interests in community, language, and identity are as much a part of my daily life as they are part of my designs. Ashes are a texture I use not only because of my name but also because I believe it is important to know where we came from and acknowledge where we are going - a cycle that ashes symbolize.

Currently, I am interested in learning languages to reconnect with my heritage and working to open my own online shop. Stay tuned! Thanks for taking the time to learn about me.

Ash is an artist and designer based in Brooklyn, NY. They received their Bachelors of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in 2020, and have been designing, illustrating, and making ever since. Elegant meets whimsical, their work is often influenced by their life as a Black Filipina - flipping between soft and bold. You can find her most current designs at Yoseka Stationery in Greenpoint, and her personal art on Instagram at @ashmademe.
